How difficult is this game?
This game has come up a lot when looking into indie stealth games. The big concern for me is that the game looks way too easy, like the games journalist that struggled with the Cuphead tutorial would find the game easy to beat the game. I believe that the game has leaderboards, which I get can help with some people, but those don’t usually hook me (although Gunpoints level ratings might be changing that). Is the game worth getting?

I'm not a pro at platformers and I was able to 100% this game. Most maps took me multiple tries to get all achievements. But just getting through is almost guaranteed because even though there are some very tough spots with multiple guards sharing a field of vision, there is a fairly generous checkpoint system that usually only makes you lose a small amount of progress if you die.

I think the fun really starts when you try to beat maps without any kills, or maximize score, that sort of thing. I'm not sure about any leaderboards though. I mean it's a fun stealth game with a unique atmosphere, but it's not Dark Devotion when it comes to difficulty...

Only played half the game so far, but for me the difficulty is perfect (not too frustrating, but not too easy either) though I've played a lot of stealth games. The generous checkpoint system makes replaying tricky segments less tedious.
