Transfer of saves

Do we know at all if there's anyway for progress in the original version to be transfered over? Cause i'd certainly like to play the game again with the new visuals but i'd rather not have to start from scratch and re-do all the challenges,collectibles, etc.

I've found a solution:
Go to Steam\userdata\[userID]\214560\remote\users and copy savegame.sav from that location.
Then go to Steam\userdata\[userID]\860950\remote\users and pase previously copied savegame.sav into it.

I actually prefer to start fresh, since I 100%ed the original. I know some of the achievements were a real pain to get but given Steam lacks a "reset achievements" button, this is the closest I'll get.

If you checked the thread I linked, lost couple of posts there say that the original 100% save will prevent you from getting achievements in this one.

O great I have to max new game + all over again? I ghosted that game and it was a joy, but also quite the time investment. I guess I lost the skill, so it might be a good way to relearn the game.

Total disaster. Not only doesnt unlock any achievements, but now the game is locked in a loop that forces me to delete it. In fact, starting a new game or a new game plus now make the game always loading only the last level, and that's it.
