Once again I am grateful for you to be working on this game. You recognize problems that I mostly just took as "that's just the way the game is" and find creative solutions that ultimately improve the game.
Both changes sound reasonable. I liked the way, though, how coins were necessary for certain production lines. The game is sometimes just too relaxing and misses "punishing" elements.
I love how you keep working on the game. You are an example of a perfect indie dev. Keep up the good work! :broflex:

I really really like the idea behind this update, I alwayss feel the urge to play this game again, keep up the great work!
Not going to lie I have poured over 300 hours to factorio but still this game gives me brain hurt when I try to comprehend what I'm doing:wogball:
Will this game continue to be just building and research or are there plans to develop an enemy, which would lead to researching defenses and weapons? Either direction it goes, LOVE the game!!! I'll head over and write a review.

Glad you're liking the game! Regarding your question, I'm not currently planning on some kind of enemy force that you'll need to defeat or defend yourself against. Mayyybe far down the road there would be some kind of mod/dlc that does this? But I have pretty much designed this game to be just about building, so it seems pretty unlikely.

That said, I know some players want more of a risk/challenge than is currently there, so I could see adding some kind of optional rule set that allows for more backsliding / negative progress if you don't keep your food supplies up or something.

At the very least I definitely want to add more mini-goals during the game so players have something to aim for besides just upgrading the base.
I'm constantly surprised by how much work you're still putting into this game, I've thought it was a great game for a really long time, but it only keeps getting better, so awesome.
Very happy with all of these changes. The coin bottleneck even as an experienced player is a random and unexpected bottleneck that can pop up and its very frustrating to resolve when it does so happy to see it go.

Research change is simple and like you said, Schools being built away from towns felt less immersive. Glad to see that shift as well.

I love that this game keeps getting updated, but I don't see many additions to the logic and math blocks? Do you have any plans for this, or?
