Houses and water
Hello
Why when we put a house on blocks of stones in order to raise it, we can't connect it to the water? It should be possible to do it because sometimes the grounds are terribly uneven

Nope. it does not work that way. If its raised the riser connection is ground level.

Yes, you will need to use above-ground pipes in that case. Place a Fluid Pipe Connector on the terrain, and you can connect the underground 2D layer with the overworld 3D layer.

While building 3D pipes hit TAB or change your camera view to build vertically and connect to houses or other buildings.

I still can't figure it out. I think it's best to just allow connectors to work regardless of terrain. It's "too" realistic now to the point where it's tediously not fun anymore. This was an update within a year right? I remember playing a year ago and never had this issue. I mean even if it's uneven, technically the water/steam could be from the part where it touches the building on the corner and instead of a solid plank of wood underneath it could be a scaffold that auto builds underneath to level off the building and still have access to underground.

Multiple story neighborhoods are pretty common and this is the only way to supply water to them, so it's a good idea to learn how to do it.

This is my set up vertically https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2836325999

As you can see there's a single silo on the ground, feeding each floors silo. Then feeding the floor.
I found placing the pipe first before the inputs and outputs easier. Since the connectors snap to the pipe.
