Moving a Barn

Tried the "M" key but all I got was an "X" over the barn. Are they not movable?

Storage objects with items in them are not movable by default.
There's a game rule for it that you can change though.

No, you can do so whenever you want through the ingame menu.

It should state the reason for that. By default you can`t move non-empty storage. You need to get rid of its contents first.

However, you get full refund for destroyed objects. So you can safely delete this barn and build a new one. All contents will be moved to TC.

I deleted a barn and it lost all the contents, they did not go to the TC.

Perhaps inventory on that item was maxed out?

Is that even how it's supposed to work? As I remember it, you get funn refunds on the construction cost of destroyed items, but their inventory is lost. But it's been a while, so I may be remembering this wrong.

If you don't want to change the games rules, build another barn where you want to move it to and move all the items out of the old one to the new one with belts. Then delete the old one when its empty.
