Why is it "food mill" instead of "grain mill"?
It still only processes grain? Like what?

You should now be able to make animal feed out of other things besides grain.

Yep it now makes other types of animal feed from vegetables, and in the future I hope to have it process raw sugarcane into refined sugar.

I kinda liked grain mill better tbh. Sugar cane is part of the grass family (and that's *basically* the same as grain), but at minimum like 95% of the recipes would be related to grain products lol.

Grist mill is another term for grain mill. It refers to a multi-grain processing facility. Although, I'm not sure shredding carrots and potatoes qualifies as milling grain.
Many farmers shred corn stalks into silage for winter feed. I worked in a KFC knockoff that ground their daily leftover chicken into their cattle feed.

How about Feed Mill, since we are processing raw stock into animal feed?

Just curious about grass in this game. Is it possible to harvest it as hay? Or are we turning FT into a farming sim?

Feed Mill sounds perfect!

I believe grass is only for artistic purposes. I run with 'grass viewing' disabled.

yeah feed mill isn't bad. Cuz you're either making animal feed or feeding flour to the people.

pretty sure grain is basically the hay of the game.
