Omni Planters are useless.
I was really excited, when i got omni planters in the game, however, he way Omni planters work right now, makes them useless.

You get ~10 minerals when something grows on them and that's less than mining drills carry capacity.

If you don't want to wait forever, you have to power earth shrines to speed up the growth, which costs coins, if you are going to do that, it's far easier to just plant a mine and prospect whatever you need.

I think stuff in omni planters should have as many units of whatever it grows, as it would get from originaly spawning on the map, it's supposed to be a high end, magical doodad, but it's currently it's a dud.

I forgot to add: using earth temples to speed up the growth adds even more strain on gold coins and at the point of the game, where you get access to omni planters, it's the most important and most used resource(for recharging mana/elemental stones, magic boosters each coins ridiculously fast).
This makes using mines a way better method, since they use different coins for different materials.

And with the amount of resources larger towns need, you have to plant very large fiels of minerals, which kinda looks ugly.

Yeah, Omniplanters for ore are weak, even since the update to mines. Add the fact that mines can reach inifinitly across the map, and and replenish what they mine. And you can just prospect to "plant" ore underground. And as you say, it gets ugly, so I like to keep as much underground as possible.

They may get updated down the line, but for now, just use mines.

So i'm not the only one building a one, big, linked underground? Cool.
