Controls / How to move elements or buildings vertically

Hello!

I am sorry for this simple question:
How do I raise buildings, belts or bridges before I place them?

Is there a possibility like in Roller Coaster Tycoon, where you had to hold SHIFT while moving the cursor up or down?

Starting at a new location, Best way I’ve found is to build up a scaffold to the desired height, at desired center of a 3x3 building. If there is something already at desired height, stick a scaffold on the side and build out more scaffolding. If building paths/rail bridges, cold down CTRL as you drag to maintain starting height. Hope thats helpful!
