Any one stuck on the school library? Trying to run into books and getting caught

Yeah, I think it's a glitch or I'm just dumb but the books fall, I run and climb ledge, then I sprint towards the books and get caught every time. Am I missing something or is this a glitch?

Happened to me. you have to slide into the gap and she will bang her head and wonder off.

Oh so we have to slide. But the game never made it clear that there is something like sliding. Also have you tried sliding on keyboard controls? You have to pres movement key (D) together with left shift and then you have to press left ctrl...

That is an absolute pain to pull off on keyboard, ive been playing the game with controller and to be honest ive only seen one control prompt telling me how to sprint. I had to find the rest of the controls in the options

you gotta crouch. Had the same problem.

you also have to adjust your path to get into the gap ... so while running (shift+D) shortly press S

That's why I rebound run (shift) to 4th mouse button, and then made crouch (Ctrl) to V. I can run to the right with d & 4th mouse button, then hit V when the time is right. Works fine.

I've tried so many times to get across the cupboard to the other cupboard, jump, grab the ledge, then sprint and slide to safety. Before I even get to the other side to jump and grab the ledge the women monster catches me. I'm using a Logitech Gamepad F310, which is working 100%. What is the secret to getting this right? Will it be easier or better to use the keyboard on my PC? Any tips?
