Slender man, friend in the TV, axe missing. (spoilers)

like the title says, i'm in the room where your friend is in the TV and you pull him out, there's suppose to be an axe that falls after the slender man comes out the TV so you can break the door, after dying a couple times the axe was no longer there, even if i restarted from checkpoint, game breaking bug as i cant continue with out the axe. any idea's how to fix this?

As a last thing to try before restarting the chapter, you could see if verifying integrity of files (in Steam) does anything. Maybe try switching between Enhanced/not enhanced, if that applies. Otherwise, restarting the chapter will probably do it.

thanks for the response. i'll try that. i didn't realize you could restart the chapter.

when i loaded the game back up today, it fixed it's self.
