Hospital is completely broken

In the hospital chapter the toys with the key in it do not spawn half the time, same with the fuse after killing the hand. What the hell is going on? A game that's been out for a year should not have game breaking bugs like this. Wish I could get a refund but I'm already past the 2 hour point

Yea for a game that is just about a year from release, there are FAR too many game breaking glitches. I picked up the game at the start of the winter sale but I would definitely refund it if I knew it was going to be like this prior to the 2 hour point. I couldn't even imagine paying full price for this to happen.

Currently making my way through the hospital and have come across three points where something was supposed to spawn to progress but it didn't. After spending 15-20 min trying to figure out what I was missing, I would look up a video just to find out the game ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ glitched out and didn't spawn what I needed. The only way to fix it was restarting the entire chapter...

It also happened once in the school with the chess pieces, one of the heads didn't spawn and I spent a good half hour wondering what the hell I was supposed to do..

Very disappointing honestly, I don't know how this game got such good reviews in this state. It looks beautiful, but my god is it just riddled with bugs.

The toys do not spawn :-(. Now I can't play. I restarted the chapter, but the bears did not spawn again I love the game, but now it ist broken for me. I hope for an update.

took me several restarts of the chapter to get them to appear. hopefully it works for you eventually

For me it only took a single chapter restart to fix each of my glitches.. sheesh I don't even want to think about the state of frustration I would be in if it took multiple.

I went on to finish the game and it is absolutely worth getting through the first three chapters, the last two are incredible with zero bugs (at least that I found).

Something I have been thinking about but haven't tested... are you playing the enhanced edition? Because I have noticed that these posts have become more frequent since its release. Increased glitched spawns could have something to do with frame rate or updated code idk.

Beyond that, its up to you whether you want to give it a few more attempts, I completely understand your frustration and lack of motivation to do so though, trust me hah.

can confirm last two chapters work perfectly fine. It's only the hospital chapter that has trouble. I personally didn't see any difference between the enhanced version or vanilla. Same bugs happened in both. Enhanced version seems to just give you the option to use ray tracing if your gpu is capable of that

I restarted the hospital chapter only to encounter the game breaking bug twice in a row, this is really upsetting because I really wanted to play this game :( but atm I won't be able to until it gets fixed, but the fact that the game has been out for almost a year indicates that I probably won't ever get to finish this game :(

I had the crank in the hand of the huge puppet at the start not spawn and wondered half an hour what to do until I watched a walkthrough video and realized it didnt spawn for me. I reloaded and it spawned. Most likely because this time I didnt open the drawer before I went to the crank.

It is October '22 now and this bug still is in the game. I guess no one does anything about it. I've restarted the Hospital Chapter 6 times now and the key never spawned in the incinerator.

Okay, what fixed the bug for me is... Kind of a spoiler. Just wanna say there's a reason for a toy just disappearing in the furnace.

Played this game earlier today for the first time and I was stumped. A quick google search brought me here because I ran into this issue where the stuffed animals didn't spawn in. I thought to cap my framerate and restart the chapter and it worked. The stuffed animals spawned in with no problem after a quick reset of the game and chapter restart. - October 14, 2023. Sad that the bug didn't get squashed after all this time.
