Installing the game before release?
Some games will allow you to install them, but not play them, before their release. It says Little Nightmares II releases on Feb 11th, but on steam it says it will be available on the 10th. Does that indicate I can install it early so I don't have to wait for it to install when the game releases?

Why would you want to do it though? It'll take you a shorter amount of time to download the game on release than to unpack a pre-load. The game will probably be so small it's not worth it.

That's unless your internet is really slow.

My internet is incredibly slow, so I was hoping I'd have the day before release to install it xD

Preload, please! :)

I agree with the timezones. It was feb 10th for me, then changed to 11th.

Ha, na, I have a 16 mbit connection 20 g take me like 3 hours or more. Don't only judge from yourself. Preloading is always the better option for me, when I want to play on release day!

Exactly what I said. Pre-load is there for people with slow internet, so they can play on release day. In your case it is the best option. Unfortunately I don't think there will be preload with this game.

And I think they'll let us to preload...

The game is not coming out at midnight. The store says 22 hours. So around the afternoon of the 10th.

It looks like you can pre-install it before release. I'm doing so now. Thankfully my internet speed has picked up again so it's downloading pretty fast!
VoidVoodoo Feb 9, 2021 @ 7:00pm
Time zones basically. Since the game is mainly made in Europe, and they wanted the game to have a world-wide release, if you're on the other side of the world you get it on day earlier :>
