Give us proper Xbox 360 gamepad support, SimBin!
The issue of gas and brake sharing the same axis is as gamebreaking as it is old.
Why is this not getting fixed? You got it working in R3E. =(

This is not something that can be fixed by changing any of the in-game settings!
The devs need to change their implementation to how it works in R3E.

Just go to advanced control settings and press down both triggers, result:
Race07: 0% throttle, 0% brakes.
R3E: 100% throttle, 100% brakes

now i know what you mean,.. same goes for forza and gt too... i guess it is an overall problem how the x-y axis works... idk if simbin can do anything about it :/ even when i calibrate my controller trhough windows system settings, i get this x-y thing...

but for a controller i guess it's ok,.. it would be shamefull if this happen to a steering wheel

I find it very unlikely that simbin will make any changes to such an old game as Race 07.

The game takes the Xbox Controller not as a Xinput Controller, but as a Dinput one, this comes from its nature of having a lot of commands to map. I've noted that Xinput games doesn't mix gamepad with keyboard, but i don't know if that's because lazyness or a Xinput requirement. On the other side, Dinput does, but also takes twin triggers as a one and only axis, while Xinput gives an axis to each trigger.

Anyway, this game is 7 years old, SimBin is actually too busy with people that spend money on RaceRoom Experience. Well, at least this game is cheap.
