Game crashes on startup

No matter what I do, the game just won't start. It immediately crashes without even showing a splash screen. The configuration application works fine but the game exe doesn't. I've tried deleting the IGA files, running the game in compatibility mode, as administrator etc. Nothing works.

Doe anyone have any idea what to do?

DId you go into your settings and Steam verify files just in case.
