survival - buildings first floor missing after login

me and my wife are playing together in survival mode.
yesterday was the first time i started building our little village. i made 2 houses both with a ground floor, and a higher floor for our beds. i made the entire 2nd floor from twig ground pieces. which looked nice and worked. i could walk on them, and place our beds on the second floor.
today when i wanted to show her, i could not walk onto the floor...
my entire second floor was gone. the beds and weapon stands i placed where floating in mid air..
is this a known bug for survival mode?

I have disappear furniture issue as well, but mine issue is my bed, campfire and anvil disappear after I put down waystone shire on any other island...

Was the issue still present after loading out and back into the game?

Hey there! This is now a known issue and we are currently investigating the main cause. Thank you for reporting it here,

Do you mind letting me know what Day you are on? Also as mentioned above, the current workaround is to Save & Quit and log back in, and you should see your items return!

this just happened to me. placed a portal on another island. went back to my main island. half a building, a chest, and tons of fully leveled stations... just gone. tried saving & quit/log back in as you recommended... and still gone. wow, this is a huge bug... gonna take a lot of work rebuilding stations... and all the materials that went into the building. as well as ALL of our inventory on this world... just poof. Day 75 year 3... 5 players worth of looting.. all gone. Zero inventory remains. This is a pretty massive gamebreaking bug.
