How many player is the optimal amount

what the optimal amount of players for the following?
- friends co-op
- public?

i'd say 3-5 cuz then all players need 1x event 1x quest 1x jotun 1x hideout to unlock fenrir portal

we just made it to day 13 with 2 players. first time for me playing and maybe the fifth or sixt time for my Lad.

felt ok. so i'd say 3 player sis probably the optimum. one for each gate at night.

I feel 3 is the best number so far, mostly because during the night phase, it's one person per-gate. 4 if you want to keep someone out during the night that could recall to help... as well the fact there four directions to explore.

I'd say 3 is the minimum and max 5 or 6 people.
10 people you'll lack of resources for everyone to craft their weapons or armors.
A hunter and seer in a group would be great.
