As far as I'm concerned, Saga play is impossible with 1-2 people. How the hell do you not wipe when the first Jotun appears in your village?

You go and hunt it down on day 3/4 and attack it early on that is how anyone really gets them down since they shred your defenses anyway

The first jotun has 40K hp solo..
You can kill him in 1 minute with an upgraded weapon, not even elemental...

The fact that it's getting to your village is what your problem is. You are supposed to stop it before it gets anywhere near your village. I've beaten Saga mode solo just fine, just takes knowing what to do. A large part of this game is figuring out how stuff works. And I am by no means any sort of very high skill gamer, I'm average at best. So if I can manage it, most people should be able to do it.

I beat the second jotun by myself. When the game says it's getting close to your village I went out and whittled him down to half and then did the rest when he was on the border of my village. It's really just about learning his moves and figuring out how to either avoid or counter them. Actually kinda easy.

Ive made it to day 17 on solo, built the bridge but ran out of time to try the final boss. I do agree that solo seems impossible to beat the final boss but the first giant.....just go kill him. Hes the red arrow on your mini map.

Solo is the way to go for achievements/progress. Coop is where you go when you are just looking to kill some time and play. I am close to my 10 saga boss kills now. I usually have Fenrir killed by day 10 and then just spend the next 6 days or so watching youtube videos until I can leave for max rewards.

Should be able to use the bifrost on day 16 with 5 giant kills and 1 saga boss kill giving roughly 40k seasonal xp and 10 golden horns.

I agree, solo for safe wins as it is not very difficult, but it can be stressful.
In Multiplayer, you can chill more as you have people defending, exploring, etc. But it's more challenging as the scaling is very punishing.

It shouldn't. It's in your village. You ignored it. Thats YOUR fault. I suggest WHEN you fail you look at why and what you can do to improve. Or you can be mentally weak and come here to whine about it. Life advice for you.

First Jotun =
Get Blacksmith 3
Get Hessir 3
Go Jotun day 3
Kill Jotun.

I'll give you TWO player co-op IS the hardest way to play. Easiest (for me) is solo. I can get day 6 wins solo, most random 10man groups are like day 10 IF im lucky. But most are slower and more annoying to deal with.
