Black screen when teleporting

So I randomly got a black screen when I TP'd. Any else had this happen? Could still hear mobs attacking and go into inventory and move around.
Did make me lose on day 15 so kinda stupid bug though 🙃

The TP is very buggy atm, I encounter TP bugs on daily basis. In my case my character stuck underground and kept bouncing, I had to abandon world. Run the tutorial again in order to bring back the character up, else it will still get stuck even we play a new game on multiplayer or saga. I had try verify, install and uninstall, Press T to TP it still had me stuck unless boot up the tutorial.

You mean where a bunch of assets fail to load and the floor is black but you see minor details like tufts of grass still? If so you have to force another instance/TP change, the 10 seconds of going in out of the underpass cost my base to fall as I was mere seconds from activating a shrine on the other side of the underpass to return as the waystone was still on cd :x

Hmm never had those bugs. My screen just went completely black but still had sounds and things happened around me. "No hardware error btw" as everything else worked completely fine

Just chalk it up to one of the millions of bugs this train wreck of a game has then lol, if might not have the green banner of early access but it sure plays like it should

This has happened to me. What happens is your screen fails, for whatever reason. Everytime you transition it loads and has a chance to bug, so limit your use of TP to reduce the risk of getting blacked out. The game is however still running, because I left mine run for another hour one time, and eventually the giants killed the tree and my screen returned to normal (and I got experience because i didnt quit).

I hope it gets fixed, its a scary bug considering this game takes 2 hours for 1 run and its bad enough you can lose out by dying, but to also lose out cuz of a bug is rough lol.

but yeah I think we all understand the game is new and we're patiently awaiting fixes, im actually impressed with how many fixes they've made already. i hope they work on this next, its the biggest one imo.
