I'll give it another go then. Thanks.
1. Sword/Shield start, Seer
2. Quickly make an axe and pick
3. Make a second weapon (doesnt matter what, this is for extra durability)
4. Accept a quest for the Pools (so you know where on the map it is)
5. Go to the Pools
6. Find and kill Lindwurms, they always spawn 2-3 near each other so if you find 1 you've found most of them (Tip for killing: Stay in front of its face, wait for attack, run back, then return and attack 3 times, repeat)
7. It should be night, do not return, NPCs can protect the tree, collect mushrooms at nighttime
8. Return to base, build lightning axe, return to new pools if you need more parts or find Enchanter who sells Lind/Shroom parts for Lightning Axe 2 (he always spawns in Pools and always has a portal next to him for easy access)
This was the most useful thing for me, by day 2/3 you will have a weapon good enough to take down Fenrir. High damage and a personal heal. If you get lucky and get the lightning giant lady, then kill her and make the lightning sword and use that instead. Always rush lightning damage perk as Seer, the attack speed and extra damage is necessary.
hmm this sounds alot like you'd be running your tree Yolo style because on night 2 even a lot of times on night 1 with all merchants already at lvl 2 the tree starts to take damage so by the time you got to night 5 your tree would be red-lined. So if one single merchant gets downed while you're in the hideout or in Fenri's lair you basically auto-lose.
Start with pickaxe/axe/lucky looter startup kit
Proceed to harvest until you get 250 exp and go back to town with a teleporter or your personal one.
Harvest until you get enough to get the quarry, get it by the start or end of day 2 for best effect. Use any extra souls you have to raise everyone to at least level 2 and leave the town alone for a while after making a weapon of your choice.
Run around and follow the roads to find the desert underpass (Leads to the desert with the hideout.) Do the same thing to find the bridge, it will most always be connected to a road.
Now that you have those out of the way, deal with the jotunn that is pestering you, preferably as soon as they spawn so you can get them to spawn quickly again for maximum kills. If you're luck it will be the lightning one which will allow you to make the easy legendary Baldr's Blade. If not, stick with what is comfortable to you.
In the midst of all this you should be doing at least 1 quest and 1 event, and by day 4, you should be either prepping walls (Level 1) or if you're strong enough, just defending the night. Your free nights, the ones after blood moons are spent clearing the hideouts/getting souls/resources for the bridge. The quarry does a good enough job in supplying resources for the bridge given enough time has passed.
On day 6 you should have either already cleared, or are in the process of clearing the hideout and your quarry will have delivered enough to get the bridge up and running, it is up to you if you want to go for fenrir at this point or not, as a Jotunn is likely on the map and close to your village (If you disregard them.)
This is the basic route I follow and it has worked 8 times in a row, 2 more to go to get my little puppy dog. Hope it helps!

Prooly for day 3 need people at lvl 22 progression and map where you can skip the bridge
It's actually way ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ easier solo, so drop the "just solo" like it's somehow more difficult. It isn't.
You can completely ignore base defense until the blood moon solo, you cannot do that in a group.
You're forgetting about the fact that I can heal the tree if I need to and the fact that souls in solo are quite easy to come by. With a day 5-6 win there's not a lot you NEED your souls for, 4 tinker 4 smith 3 everyone else, souls for bridge. That's it. Some games you might buy your hideout frags but I generally find it faster to clear a hideout than farm the extra souls.
But what you do there depends on your map. Also, this isn't a theory. This is something that has consistently worked for all of my day 6 solo kills.
