Okay a few questions since we are struggling.
1: whats the points of the construction? The ramps are nice to get higher up but whats the point of anything else?

2: the lvl progression of zones, like we go out of base low lvl zone>bam lvl 100 zone>and poof lvl 20 zone again. like? We have walked trough lvl 200+ zones only to find a lvl 20 zone right after. same with the quests, quest (easy) have to walk trough zone 200 lvls above me??

3: whats the point of spending the golden horns at the throne? Is it even worth it? I would just save them to get the weapons u can buy from the store.

4: dodging and blocking feel pointless. Ive never used the block, ur always stuck in an animation when u need it and theres no parry/stun system on a good block so whats the point when I can just spam attack? The dodge Ive used a few times when fighting the giants for their big aoe, but other than that, why would I dodge? Cant do it when in an attack animation so ur always too late etc. spamming m1/m2 feels like the way to go.

1. You can build ramps to get to areas that are inaccessible, or build walls outside of your base to create mazes, utilizing your archer towers.

2. This is how biomes work. You discover a new biome, and need to gear up properly for it. Otherwise, you move around it and stay in your area.

3. After you buy everything and have extra horns, now you have something to use them on. You probably don't want to use them before that.

4. You have to time your attacks so that you have time to dodge. You learn how the enemies move and attack and work around that. If you wait until they start their attack and then slowly switch to dodge, that's how you fail. If you do it right, you can avoid almost all damage in this game (at least vs one mob at a time).

but you cant build close to your base, do the mobs not avoid the maze and just take the shortest path to your gate? Seems like a ton of wasted resources. and on 4, so far just braindeadly spamming m1/m2 has been far more effective than blocking/dodging except for the giant as I said. If you time your attacks and then block etc it takes so long to kill smth. you shud just be able to animation cancel into block. or dodge.

You build mazes for the Jotuns. And if you learn to dodge correctly, you basically can beat this game taking zero damage. But in most cases you can just face tank mobs.

dont you need like a massive maze if you do it for the jotuns? seems like an ultra waste of resources? especially since you cant see their predetermend path?

When you're on day 50 nothing is a waste. But early on sure, just like early on building the gates over the quarry or lumber mill is a waste.

WHAT?!?!

Is survival mode longer? Because if it only goes to day 15 then this game is not at all what I was hoping for.

once we hit day 15 the eternal night set in so we were always being attacked....we couldnt build the bridge to get to the saga boss as there were none stop waves. We just had to use the bifrost and leave

That's ridiculous lol. The claim that walls would be useful to maze jotuns end game is totally valid, and doesn't require you to reach day 50+ to realize that. This is like me claiming that if I throw a ball just outside of Earth's gravity, that it will continue on into space. I don't need to have personal experience with this to reach my conclusion.
