UE4-TOM has crashed (Fatal error). Seek help/advise please

Hi. Bought the game couple of days ago but have been unable to play it, As the game is launched, I get a dialogue box UE4-TOM has crashed (Fatal Error). Am running a NVidia RTX3080. Have updated drivers, done a clean install of drivers, verified game files, de-installed and reinstalled the game but still get the error.

Can anyone help me with some advice? Many thanks

Sorry for late answer.

That is an Unreal Engine crash probably cause of not enough vram memory.
If anyone has it later, you just gotta "clean install" your video drivers, no need for full windows reinstall.

Make sure your win is up to date.

In order to clean install (not just un/reinstall) video drivers get DDU (just for nvidia i think):

Reinstall correct drivers, when done, verify integry of the game. ANd that should be it.

nice to know its not just my ♥♥♥♥♥♥ graphics card. mine is a 1080 and i have the same problem when i minimize the game for extended periods of time. but my graphics card is literally dying so its whatever

Having the same problem now

Write %localappdata% in the Windows File Explorer, double-click on the folder "TOM" and delete the "Saved" folder. Launch the game. This fixed it for me
