Play with 10 random people is chaotic

It's seems a lot of people forgot that this is a coop game because they just play for themselves in 10 players saga, they don't care about the group.
No one put their stuff in the war chest, it's always empty.
No one build the quarry, lumberyard, farm and bridge.
When it's time to clear the hideout I typed it in the chat still no one responds and no one come same thing happen for the Fenrir even though it's day 12 already people still exploring the map which already explored there's no more to open on the map.
Since I bought this game until now I rarely get reply when I chat, IDK why?
It's like they don't know what the objectives are, maybe they think it's just defend the village as long as they can until they can't hold it anymore in saga mode.
Well if you don't wanna share and help the group to accomplish the objectives like build something, collect all the fragments, clear the underpass, hideout, and beat Fenrir maybe you should play in solo because the way I see it is you play solo in coop mode (FYI coop stand for cooperative).

Well I don't mean to offend anyone, I just wanna share how's my experience playing saga mode with 10 random players.
Because it's quite stressful TBH and I ended up playing solo all the time if my friends aren't online.

I've had a lot of success from the groups formed in discord, if you don't mind joining a voice channel. Usually there are a few vocal people so even if talking isn't your thing you can just be in the channel, coordination was pretty good as well.

Just food for thought but yeah the random lobbys are really rough. I sometimes go into them just to really chill relax and play for fun, they usually end pretty early on though.

I only put stuff in the warchest if other people put stuff in there. There's too many trolls to trust putting stuff in right away. I don't usually have a problem building up the village on my own so once I do that I dump everything.

I dunno, my first and so far only experience with random matchmaking play was completely opposite; everyone stuffed their things into the war chest, we built quarry on day2 and the rest on day3, finished fenrir a little after day10 dawned, heck.. people even tried their best to revive one another during the fight :)

It all comes down to the game matching experience players with newbies. It's a frustrating experience for everyone when this happens because you'll have 2 or 3 players doing most of the work, putting stuff in the chest only to have the newbies use the materials and do nothing. It's not anyone's fault, it's just a matter of incompatible people playing in a group. Doesn't help that the game is basically deadline simulator.

Yeah, I've meet a group of people who know what to do and can help to accomplish the objectives and it's really fun when we got that kind of group but the problem is it's really rare lol

I know, right.
For me it's okay if you new to the game and know nothing or less about the game but please listen to us when we said help to build the quarry, finish the bridge, clear the underpass and hideout just listen and follow what we said and soon you'll know what to do. I can clear the hideout by myself but the fragments should be pick up by a few people in a group or at least 2 or 3 persons because it's only drop 2 to 3 fragments from one hideout per person to pick up so if it's just me it's not gonna be enough to open the Fenrir's lair.

Yep i've tried MP a few times, it can be quite fun, but nto if the aim to play is progression. Solo all the way for that.

That said, the games still fairly new, and a lot of people are chasing achievements/class unlocks such as getting all shrines and dont care about anything else, so after a while it will naturally improve i think.

Ah, chaos. Dude, you gotta embrace it for it's not gonna chage unless you're lucky with your pug. So just fill in whatever the idiots are not doing but is essential. Upgrade the gates and archer towers for each idiot who afk farm for example. xD

I see it as a challenge to overcome because in a world of idiots you either quit or quit whining and overcome. It also teaches you how to rally the idiots (or less idiots) to finally kill that damn ice Jötunn.
