No sound :(

Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks! My other games on Steam DO have sound, though.

Audio is a bit shaky. It can disappear and reappear later. I normally restart the game if I don’t have sound when it’s on the menu.

Hello sorry to hear that. A small number of people have reported this and we are still trying to find the cause, could you please give us as much info as possible about your system? things like:

- CPU
- Video Card
- Sound card
- Are you using any external peripherals? like controllers or USB devices (hubs, audio mixers, headsets, etc.)?
- Anything else unusual about your system?

-Intel 7th Generation I7-770 HQ
-2 video cards-
-Intel HD graphics 630
-NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060
-not sure about sound, Nahimic 2 and/or RealTek HD audio?
-i use an XBox controller and afterglow headphones, however (as far as the headphones go) I have tried with and w/o the head-set to no avail.
-all drivers are up to date
-I have tried to enable and disable some things as far as sound goes, didn't work...
-I have learned to live without sound at this point, there are about 20 (out of 250) games that just don't get any sound for what -ever reason
-Seems to have started about 6 months ago, no hardware changes

Hey thanks for the info, could you maybe send us a capture of your device manager (the audio part), like this one:

It would be interesting to see if there are any conflicts there. (you can upload this as artwork on steam, or mail it to "bugs at madrugaworks dot com")

Just for reference purposes, this issue was solved by downloading the latest RealTek audio trivers from here:

I didn't think that this would work, but, it absolutely fixed my problem. Try it out!

I used a different work around for another steam game with sound issues and it worked for this one as well. Open up the game file location, and change the properties of the .exe program to run as an admin only. Under the compatabilities tab.

I just uninstalled Nahimic 2 and it fixed any and all sound problems that I had. Thanks, though.
