Where to place mods?

I got a mod for better camera control including better zoom function. Problem is I have no idea where to put it as there doesn't seem to be a mods folder in documents or in the dawn of man files in steamapps. Anyone know where to make a mod folder?

I am thinking program files 86 > steam > steamapps > common > dawn of man > mods

but that is completely a guess on my part, anyone know for sure?

Download any existing mod and look in which folder it goes

in the documents folder (after you have started a game already it will appear) go to dawn of man in the folder and then to scenarios, drop it in there. However, having said that, most of the mods you may find elsewhere and have to install manually are now in the workshop and those obviously don't need to be installed manually.

Documents > DawnOfMan > Scenarios
