I make plenty of linen, I have an outfitter, yet no linen get made. I put it on "continuous", and put them in cue, but they just sit there not being made

You have the supply / free people to deal with it ? Sometimes if it seems that the pops are not doing things how you want in the right order try this trick. Sound the horn ( like for a raid ) for about 3-5 seconds then revert back to normal. It kinda resets people in respects to the work they are doing. Hope this helps. Also make the outfitter a priority.

You can see what your people are currently busy with by pressing '6'.
Often people will take care of their needs or do minor tasks that don't show up in the task menu '7'.

Also, just to be sure, you do have a Weaver to make Linen Cloth from Linen?
The Outfitter uses Linen Cloth, not Linen.

You should definitely not have to jump through the hoops Gafwmn mentions to make your people produce Linen Outfits. Not unless you have overworked your people to a dangerous degree.

Also, why do you need that much Linen Outfits? Do you want to sell them?
Linen Outfits will only last 5 years even without wearing them, so stockpiling them makes no sense.

deactivate then reactivate the production in the outfitter.
