milk and cheese
so, I don't make much cheese because of no milk. I have 40 cows. the villagers seem to be drinking the milk as fast as it's gathered. Do cows with plows have an effect on the milk gathering? if so then maybe i need some goats, I don't have any.

Cows on plows don't produce Milk.

Cheese should only be produced if/when Milk starts spoiling.

Cows on plows don't make milk.

The most efficient way way to fix this is to de-select cows from plows in summer/autumn, when there's no planting to be done, and re-select them in winter/spring, when they are needed. Cows on plows in winter don't need feeding in stables, and you still have quite a bit of milk.

Or you just get some horses.

ya dude horses have no other uses than plowing as well. they can be hard to get though and maintaining a lot of livestock can take a lot. remember to limit your livestock too you can define max which will kill when you go over that amount.

diversify your food too i would think even if you had 20 cows(depending on your population) that should be enough to produce a good amount of cheese unless your only doing cows.

Horses can pull carts and plows. I missed the fact that horse's can do both so i used all cows for plows and donkeys for carts. I usually had a lot of donkeys when i got the horse upgrade and never bothered with them. Now though, I use horses and eat the donkeys. I currently have 50 horses, 40 cows and 30 sheep.
