Sorry if this is old hat, but is there a way to create your own maps? I don't see anything in the DoM folder for this.

You can only generate random map with mod. No in-game function for that yet.
- A random map is a combination of a noise profile (flat area, mountains, hills) and random seed. Plus some overrides for resources.
- You can't do thing like placing river, lake and such. However, you can turn on/off river and change the width.
- You can change map size, but still limited at 4.

Hmm, I didn't mention random. I meant creating a map just like the mods already do - the same map each time. How do they do that?

By creating / editing xml files.

If you'd like to create / edit maps, do yourself a favor and search the web for "XML editor" or "XML online editor".

Have you some hints about changing the width of rivers on purpose for workshop scenarios?
Map Size 5 runs well with Bloodlines - the background mountains are not that close all the time.

Oh jeez...I never even noticed the sub-forum panel on the right of the screen lol. I always just looked at the top header. So I never even saw the Modding heading :P
