Making bronze

I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. I have plenty of copper and tin ore, but my people won't make bronze. I have the pit furnaces and metalshop set to high priority, but none of my people will go near them. I realize this is probably a noob mistake, but I need help. Thanks in advance peeps!

I have a similar issue, but I have lots of charcoal though. Somehow the people stopped to produce bronze :-(

did you check your limits? (F4)

could be too much workload, did you set the priority high?
since your limit is 10 they wont produce more than 10.
The thing is they use the bronze right after its produced to make tools/weapons out of it so maybe you already have reached your weapon/tool limit and thats why there is no need for this production chain atm, or they just have too much other stuff to do

Maybe turn Copper production off entirely? I mean at the Pit Furnace(s), turn it off.

I have 10 bars of copper in the store. And sometimes I trade in some bars of bronze, and then the forgery immediately starts to work

You need copper ore, tin ore and charcoal to make bronze. Copper bars won't work.
