Preferred Game Speed???

With the four different game speeds, you can play this game in varying ways. So, how do you prefer to play it? The first time I tried it out I played most of it at the faster two speeds, only slowing down when I really needed to. However, since then I have started playing almost solely on 1x speed and am really enjoying it like that. I figured I would get a little bored, but to be honest it was really engaging! Now it just seems like cheating to speed it up... and it definitely robs you of the full immersion.

2x for typical play, 4x if I'm in a hurry, and 1x when I manually control the hunting party.

At first I played like 70% on 8x speed until I got over 200 population and achieved everything (first scenario)
Then I moved on to the next scenario and actually you are right I also enjoyed playing on 1x or 2x speed its more immersion. Sometimes I just like to follow along on a hunt or someting

I go between 1x and 8x all the time.

I use all speeds combined with pause to select units especially on early stage so as to do things efficiently. But I think when things need relaxation I have to go with x2.
