You can pivot the camera on a point by pressing Q+D or A+E (move laterally + rotate)
But for the life of me I cannot work out how it works or why it works like this, it's actually stupid
As a tangent -- I also wish you could still issue commands and use menus/windows when you have the camera focused on a person or a building without having to ESC back from the camera-focus-mode first. It's a small quality-of-life thing but I like to play the game while up-close and in the action.
It seems they'll still believe it. Kind of off-putting really. I was contemplating purchasing this, but a Banished-esque game with Planetbase controls is leaving me pretty 'meh' about the prospect.
