You can read more about it here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reindeer "at that time and at the early Mesolithic it was the game animal for many tribes. The supply began to get low during the Mesolithic, when reindeer retired to the north"
So although the reindeer is not extinct as species even nowadays, it in fact went extinct long time ago on the area where the game is placed.
We're thinking on tweak the fauna of Northlands scenario to add more variety on the different scenarios, introducing few more northern species and keeping the reindeer through the eras
Glad to view your interest in the community and also glad to have the luck to view one of your posts.
In term of fauna, notably for Northlands scenario, what have you planned to add?
I highly suspect muskox and saiga antelope, but I can be wrong too.
Can you maybe adjust this in Future? :
If it is set in Central Europe then why do you build roundhouses instead of longhouses? The Linear Pottery Culture, the first farming culture in Europe, did. They also looked very mideastern in their phenotype. And why do they drink Milk if both the neolithic migrants and the european hunter gatherers were intolerant towards lactosis?
