Maybe I want invading another villages, another villages too invading me. I dont want to be raiders, surviving loop. I want ofansive fight items too. Most of thing realistic but when I came Bronze, Iron age etc. still game want to stay caveman style, dont conquer any city, dont go somewhere for trade, dont make ofansive items etc.
Why?
Huh? You're English is really bad. I don't understand. None of what you said was an answer to my question I don't think lol
Yeah exactly. If it had at least some interaction like that I'd buy the game. It looks good but I feel like I'd get bored after a while without other human interaction or playing with friends, etc.
I disagree. I think it should almost always be in option in 2019. But like I said an OPTION. Some people can't handle doing things with others so there should be choices. I don't mind it being SP focused to insure a great game experience, but adding MP elements doesn't hurt anything only make a good game, great.
What is the point of having MP for this game? Your buddy has a village on another part of the map. OK. You'll be too far apart to interact. Your people die if they try to cross the map; they'll die visiting your friend's village.
Are you going to team up against raiders? The raiders will have all been killed by the time you get there.
Are you going to give them free stuff? Sure, I guess...
"We played on Hardcore and made it easy by there being 2 of us!" .... why?
"Some people just like playing games with their friends." So do I. Most of my gaming is multiplayer. But we play games designed for it.
Because it's fun to play with friends. Period. MP games also have longer lifespans. It doesn't have to have PVP, just MP. No excuse to not have it this day and age.
Anyway you're getting off topic. No one can actually answer my question, only complain.
What exactly is the point with the lifespan? I mean, you normally only want to hold players indefinitely if you
1) want to sell them a subscription
2) want to sell them micro transactions
As the devs plan on neither and they get all their money from the sale in a fairly nieche market, what exactly is it about lifespan as if this was a live service that makes it so important.
Just curious. A coop mode would be interesting, but I don't see it by far as the necessity you seem to see it as.
DLCs is also a thing. There's a TON of MP games that don't have micro or subscriptions.
Okay thanks. That's all I needed to know to make sure I don't buy it then. Appreciate the direct response.
How fast would have Age of Empires died if it didn't have multiplayer? 19 years later, that game is still being played in tournaments. Just because you don't need multiplayer, doesn't mean it wouldn't be fun for others. "entitles millineals" really? I take it you don't have any friends and always game solo because you have no choice. Which actually makes sense, cause you're kind of a jerk.
