So no controller support?

Seems like a very stupid decision from the dev not to include controller support. These games are to chill out how can one chill out when sitting up straight on a uncomfy chair and using KB/M when you could be lying back on your sofa chilling with control in hand comfy as. Personally im not gonna touch the game till the controller support is added in.

I don't really blame them. Simplifying menus to the point where you can navigate through them using a controller would be a pain in the bum.

They are working on a console version I believe, so perhaps they'll be able to leverage what they've done on that for the PC version (or perhaps you can buy the console version if they don't).

why the hell would i support the dev more by buying another version? the game was gifted to me so i dont care that much just seems so stupid not to add for a game like this i can understand for fps games but am baffled why they decided to leave such a basic feature out plus people wont buy it if no controller support so they are lossing out on sales and for a new dev thats not good so bit more effort from them they would target more customers seems like common sense but world is pretty short of that

I don't think it is such a 'basic feature' on a game like this - it's arguably easier to implement in a FPS game because you're dealing primarily with character movement rather than reprogramming windows, menus and how micromanagement is performed in the game.

I don't recall banished (a similar game to this) having native controller support either (though modders did add it in some capacity later).

I use a logitec G13 with a mouse, but I can't imagine playing a game like this with a Plastation or Xbox type controller. It's not a FPS by any stretch of the imagination.

still not a game perfectly adaptable for use with a controller, but doable for sure

well considering i got all commands to work on arma 3 with controller id like to think i can get a simple game like this to work lol which i have done and works perfectly fact was i had to do it myself and took some time deves couldve done this and got more sales as im not the only controller user on steam.

I very much doubt that not including controller support on a non-FPS PC game like this has a material impact on sales.

Have you tried the steam controller support options? They do include xbox and sony .I don't like the way they have it set up personaly. I use Xpadder for another game still in alpha with no controller support. Haven't tried it on this game but it should work. There are other keyboard emulators as well though I haven't used anything else.

Yeah, you are probably right, it's just that I am not comfortable with a controller like with a mouse and keyboard (I play on the sofa too, with a gaming laptop).
