How do you build Menhir?
This is one of the least obvious things in the history of gaming. There is absolutely nothing in either the tutorial or the help menus. I have laid down a build order for a menhir, I made it a priority, and it's been sitting there for two years. I have tried to tell my people to mine local stone deposits, and that puts a bit of stone into my stone stockpile, then they stop. I have absolutely no bleeping clue how this is supposed to work.

Developers please note.

You are right with everything. Anyway, there are special deposits of large rocks on map, called megaliths. You need to mine them first, then prepare them for transport and transport them to building site. They are greyish at first and blueish when mined. Try to keep track of them during the process as there is no real way of tracing them.

Uhmmmm, a dumb question here, but, do you realize that you have to have a supply of leather for them to make bindings to tie the large stones to the sledge they use on the rollers, otherwise, the stones get mined but never get mounted on the sledge and rollers. Also, once the stone is mined, you have to go back and instruct them to prep it for moving from the same menu. After you order the stone prepped for moving, they will move it to selected spot automatically as workload schedule allows manpower to be available.

As a further note, moving the stones is NOT a quick process, so, be aware that if the selected stone is far away from the village, and you order the preparation to move close to winter, your villagers will attempt to move the stone even in a blizzard resulting in people freezing and starving away from the village. If you cancel the move, the stone will be unloaded from the sledge and rollers and the material put back into storage, more starvations and freezings while they reclaim the materials. Yea, plan that last step out in advance!
