Ancient Warriors Mechanics
This Scenario was considered to be the hardest difficulty level but it doesn’t seem though.
I played through all the Continental and Northland Scenario and the difference of these 2 scenarios on Ancient Warriors is that the later has more raiders. I did not observe the AI/raiders behavior/characteristics much yet on my previous Ancient Warrior Hardcore game if they really have advanced weapons than the players if the human player stays much longer on era despite having all the knowledge accumulated to advance.
The only major observation I had is that the raiders numbers are much much more compared to the two lower tier scenarios. Both lower tier scenarios raiders are pacing with the human player’s population and technology level that’s currently in use.

So I think the Ancient Warriors Scenario must retain the same difficulty level and the raiders behavior must not pace with the human technology level. They can advance further ahead perhaps an era ahead so that the human player won’t exploit and demean the difficulty level. And the most important thing is “IT HAS TO START IN STONE AGE”! This way a Paleolithic overpopulation can still be challenged.

All comments allowed regardless but please be nice to everyone.

If you want raiders that evolve at their own pace, you can choose hardcore mode.

I did the hardcore on all scenarios already. I did the Paleolithic overpopulation on hardcore Northlands too already and I’m trying to challenge (play) the difficulty if the ancient Warriors can have a Paleolithic overpopulation even on hardcore.

@buds wants (and me too) a scenario that starts in the Paleolithic but has the difficulty of the Ancient Warriors scenario.

Incidentally, we need new scenarios. There are good things in the workshop, but it's not enough.
