Buy techs from trader and save up for jumping through ages (so work on accumulating goods you can trade for techs).
Also work on accumulating points by building/hunting animals to where you get awarded points. Like hunting 5 animals will give you extra point or building 3 mortars or something.
GL
(shouldn't be that hard)
Editing to add: Keep an eye on what you need to do to get points (8 key). Keep hitting those and rack up as many tech points as you can. Keep on 8x speed!
Thank you very much! Congrats on the achievement!
are there new achievements planned ? I hope so.. at least some harder ones similiar to 100 palaeo pop or the tech in 5h achievement would be cool !
atm I don´t know what to do ;)
I'm about to start playing Ancient warriors on hardcore. Not gonna use towers or any techs past bronze age, but will unlock steel and iron ages and try to get all milestones on Bronze age tech.
See how that works.
As opposed to some other strategy its still best imo to stay longer in Neolithic, Copper and Bronze Age longer while you accumulate knowledge points for at least 1 or 2 technology for your immediate choice.
If you are not prepared to fight advanced weapons equipped raiders better not to get military technology (I noticed they don’t arm themselves newer weapons if the player don’t have imo; I stay longest in Neolithic but if I have to start a new game I will stay longer on each pre Iron era longer) quickly.
For as long as you limit your population (50 is really good) their numbers are minimal. As opposed to what the guide says the AI still pace with the player’s technology on weapons. In one of my games I reached 180 population in Neolithic and the Raiders still have Neolithic weapons; as well as accumulated 200+ extra knowledge.
Bows, flint and bone tools as well as leathers (which accumulate due to high domestic animals) trade so much. If you jump to Iron Age quickly they become 1.
Doing a 5 hour tech achievement is quite hard if you start with very few animals (no mammoths or Rhinos in sight you better restart the game. I’m not a quick clicker but I might try a hardcore one day because normal is a slowing me down when in primal vision. The problem is raiders have less knowledge accumulation. Idk and haven’t observed if every time the raiders get killed (5-10) can give more bonus knowledge, and the techs are more expensive (right?). The traders only offer 1 technology every era imo so better save some resources for that.
Idk maybe I’m really slow but two additional techs seems a PITA.
I think s balance grains and pulses will help.
I think it’s better to maximize more knowledge points on every era before advancing to the next starting with wooden, and bone tools/weapons.
Hunting might be the key to good start as they have more available knowledge points because of more different types of animals.
