Population drops right before 100
Hi folks Im noob, playing the first scenario. It was pretty easy but when I reach 98 population, suddenly it starts to drop rapidly to like 90 or sometimes 94 or 93, rises again and drops again but totally impossible to reach 100. Workload is low, plenty of food and clothing, what else could cause this?!?

A human life lasts 13 cycles of seasons in DoM (each cycle corresponds to 5 years).
Considering the average birth rate when the settlement has about 50-60 people and the time it takes to approach 100, it is likely that in your game age deaths will be concentrated in that period.
I always get stuck when I get close to 80 people, because my villages grow very slowly and the peak of death occurs at that time.
Some time later, the situation normalizes.

Try to maximize your villagers lifespan. They retire (die) around 70 years old. Keep your adult women safe (everyone of them as you don’t know who is pregnant).
Everytime you come across a villager with less than 75% health, heal them by resting them to houses. When there is fight there must be some wounded. Immediately without delay send them to rest (house).
If necessary put food, water and 2 types of clothing to a healing house.
Keep the children safe too! They are the future!
