Pregnancy and Available Housing
I unlocked the 10th milestone (cairn + 150 population) last night, but with some difficulty. I had plenty of food, everyone was happy, I had 155 total housing, so I thought that I could just set the speed to max, and wait.

My population was growing, but very slowly, like 2-3 per year. After about 3 years of waiting, I realized that unborn babies were counting against my housing availability (e.g: I had 139 population and 16 pregnancies), and the natural death rate of my older population, I wasn't going to get to 150. So I built 4 homes, and the milestone unlocked almost immediately.

What does this mean? It means that your housing limits effect your population much earlier than just running out of housing. Immigrants check to see how many pregnancies you have before deciding to come to your settlement. As a software developer, I understand why these decisions were made, but it would be nice if this were clear. Maybe a Yellow indication when your settlement can't accept new settlers?

Yes it seems like the mechanics is like that. First they give space/popcap priority to pregnancy numbers before the immigrants come in afaik.

But in my EverWinter game last night I was surprised that some immigrants came in minutes (more) after the raid and my housing is way below minimum. And with lots of pregnant women. I think some pregnant women will labor more than a year or maybe 5 years with this current setup 😜.

Btw about pregnancy, I think it is best to have identification on who they are.

Pregnancy identification icon would be great, I don't want to send those on long difficult hunts or to battle...
