I think It only took me 40 minutes to beat the path of pain when I first played it, Its really overhyped just as almost everything else in HK when it comes to difficulty.
The only truly deranged challenge in Hollow Knight are the pantheons, especially the last one. Everything else in HK is mildly challenging.
The Full Gauntlet in Gravity Circuit is similar to the Pantheon 5 in Hollow Knight. But there is not a level which is analogous to the Path of Pain in Hollow Knight. Such a platform level will be very interesting.
I don't think the Full Gauntlet can be compared to Pantheon 5.
I suppose they function in a similar way from a gameplay perspective but one of these is a fun little bonus while the other is necessary for an achievement and much more tedious and challenging.
