Update on Switch?

Just wondering, how up to date is the Switch version right now? I haven't played in awhile since I beat it, but I went back today to find the painter bot, and she wouldn't mention any paints. Couldn't find the boss rush computer either. Are these updates not in yet, or do you have to start a new file to get it?

The current active patch on consoles is 1.0.8, Boss Rush and Armor Paints were introduced in 1.1.0. We are working on bringing the latest stuff to consoles, but due to the holidays and some external factors, we've had some unfortunate delays. Sorry for the wait.

So, at this time we ask for your patience -- the patches should be out on consoles soon. We'll be sure to make announcements on X/Twitter as soon as we're able!

Of note, I am not sure if Valve has any rules about talking about console ports in the forums. So, for any further inquiries, it's perhaps best to approach about them via email, Discord or social medias.

Thanks for the fast reply. I don't mind waiting, I just wanted to be sure I wasn't missing it by not doing something and it was right under my nose.
Oh, and I don't think Valve minds. For what it's worth, I've seen lots of other Steam boards where people asked console specific questions. Sadly, consoles just don't got any place to go these days. GameFAQs isn't nearly as active as it once was... maybe Reddit, but that place just isn't my kinda scene.
Anyway, wonderful game. ♥ I'll be looking forward to playing again once that patch comes out. Take all the time you need.

Pretty sure they're fine with it as long as you aren't pushing people to buy it. That said, I'd have to log into my other account and run the Steam Distribution Agreement by a lawyer to know definitively, and then even then I couldn't answer here because it's under NDA.
