Version mismatch error
I just downloaded the Public Test version, it doesn't have any updates, but fails to connect to the servers or something with the response of "Warning: Version Mismatch". Anyone else getting this or know a fix? I'll try re-downloading it...

You will soon enough, The next scheduled update for Live Servers is the Great Dreamer Patch, Which will include Cthulhu and all the extras we tested last week. Expect it either around early next week or the week after.

PTS will appear with the "Version Mismatch" error on login for a variety of reasons.

The most common and likely one is that, PTS servers are just not up at that moment, or are not up in your region in that moment. PTS regularly goes down and comes back up for fixes can be implemented as they're found.
Check the SMITE twitter for updates on PTS playsessions and server uptimes.

Another possible issue is that some part of your PTS install is incorrect or while updating was corrupted in some way. To fix this, try verifying the game cache of the PTS version and check for any inconsistencies that get replaced.

Honestly, if you're sure it's not a PTS servers issue, and you've already verified your game, and all else fails, your last real option is to uninstall the game. Delete your PTS game folders in your steam directory and reinstall it.

If none of these work, then the first issue is the case.
