I did watch the trailer, but didn't take much notice of the cart with silly eyes. I admit I just brought the game on a whim, but wasn't that sorry. I did say I was glad I only paid about $12 dollars. I just thought the devs might have done more research into the life of a homeless person, a bum.
Take it from me, I had a taste of being homeless about 20 years earlier after a working holiday gone wrong. It was only a taste mind you, and I'm back home now. I certainly didn't have conversations with objects or furniture. No, I took my homelessness very seriously...
I didn't make a joke 🤨 I was asking you if you thought it was a literal bum simulator, and if so, why would you think that? It's a PlayWay game, they haven't published something that could be considered a grounded simulator in many years. This game is just meant to be fun. There wouldn't be anything fun about a grounded homeless sim..
I read a review on this game saying it was realistic & bought it but then saw the speaking the cart lol.
Hobo tough life is one and it's very good - has it's flaws ofc - but for what it is, it is very good.
Have gander at this game. It looks silly as well, but more interesting...

As for Hobos, having a shopping cart for a best friend that seriously talks to them. This has more to do with mental illness and that's something that really bothers me. When people like some people here automatically thinks homelessness walks hand in hand with mental illness. People said that about me when they referred to my own adventures in homelessness and that's just not right.
