Game Won't Launch Through Steam
When I click the Launch button to run the game I get the following error:

"An error occured while updating the Subject (missing executable):
/home/matthew/.steam/steam/steamapps/common/The Subject/TheSubject.exe".

When I open up the games folder and manually run the "TheSubject.x86_64" file the game runs just fine. I think the issue may be that Steam is looking for the wrong file. The error mentions TheSubject.exe which would be the Windows file but on Linux it should be looking for the file above. I have tried on two different systems and had the same issue. Overall not a big deal at the moment because the work around is easy but I figured I would let you know.

My systems:

AMD Ryzen 5 2600X | 16GB DDR4-3000 CL15 | MSI RX 580 8GB Gaming X | Mesa 18.3.3 | Manjaro| Kernel 4.20.10-1-MANJARO

AMD X3 710 | 6GB DDR3-1333 | MSI RadeonHD 5450 1GB | Mesa 18.2.2 | Linux Mint 19.1 | Kernel 4.15.0-45.generic

I've seen this before. It seems to be a common steam issue on Linux from what I've found. The work around for this currently would be to go to The Subject in your steam library, right click and go to local game files. Click the Browse local files button and there you will see The Subject launch file. It should start right up.

I will continue to look into why this might be happening. Let me know if this doesn't work for you.

Thank you for providing the workaround in your post too btw. I just want to make sure folks see it. Looking into this now.
