Ending 02: "Find Another Way". Travel to Grandfather's house, then immediately choose to "Get the F*** Out" when you click on your car.
Ending 03: "Manage To Get Money". Go to Grandfather's house and collect everything you can find (The gramophones in the study, dining room, and mother's room: The jewelry in grandfather and mother's room: the swords in the living room and entrance: the television in grandfather's room) and go to the pawn shop.
Ending 04: "Need to Work Harder". Pawn only SOME items (The swords and television from the living room, the cigars, radio, and gramophone from Grandfather's study seem to be enough) and then go to the pawn shop.
Ending 17:"A Sign From the Ancestor". Take the Dhuwang (Kris) then Get The F*** Out.
Ending 18:"Keeper of an Heirloom". Find and purify the Dhuwang (Kris), then Get The F*** Out.
Ending 19:"Possessed". Take the Ali Ali (the Ring) and then Get The F*** Out.
Ending 20: "Artefact Owner". Find and purify the Ali Ali (the Ring) and then Get The F*** Out.
Ending 21:"Spear of Doom". Take the Lembing (Spear) and then Get The F*** Out.
Ending 22: "New Guardian". Find and purify the Lembing (Spear) and then Get The F*** Out.
Ending 23:"Disturber". Find the Sculpture and then Get The F*** Out.
Ending 24:"Taking Care Of An Antique". Find and purify the sculpture and then Get The F*** Out.
Ending 28: "Got Lost". When you first reach Grandfather's house, start walking down the road until you black out and arrive at the sugar plantation.
Ending 32:"Attacked." I've found this one super easy to get, almost to a fault. As user Hyrenapth noted, this seems to happen every time you are at a standstill for too long or wander around aimlessly, regardless of what you do or how you behave. You are attacked from behind.
I'll update more as I find them.
To get the other endings, you must discover 2 secrets keys that are hidden inside the house, unlock and clean (or not) 4 hidden artifacts (one per game session), bind or release the tuyul and do alternate endings with those items or contexts.
There are many endings that I do not know yet how to unlock.
This is so interesting! I found the keys in grandpa's desk and near the bunker and the vase. are there more? As well as this, if you could go into more detail about binding/releasing the tuyul that'd be amazing- I've found the ritual room and have collected the chicken blood from the bunker, but seem to have hit a dead end. I'm not the most intuitive gamer, lol
First you'll need to get the puzzle key. You have to check under your grandfather's desk in order to find it (to do this, move the chair out of the way, you should get a prompt to go under the desk). There's a hidden compartment where the puzzle key is, which you can open by turning the hidden wheels in the desk (if you haven't found that, there's a latch underneath the lamp, which you'll have to move; one of the wheels opens a secret room behind the bookshelves, the other wheel opens the compartment underneath the desk). While you're at the desk, nab the other regular keys in the desk drawer. You'll need them later to access the different rooms to collect items.
Head over to the living room and look down at the carpet. You'll notice a section has been flipped a bit to show something underneath (it should be on the right side of the TV). Examine that, then you'll get the option to roll the carpet off. There's a trap door that has 2 puzzle key holes. If you open your inventory and look at the puzzle key, you can actually reshape the key. Reshape it so that it matches the keyholes of the trap door.
Go down into the basement and somewhere around you'll find a glass box holding a piece of paper, telling a story. You can also find this same paper in that bunker outside where you found the spoiled eggs and chicken blood (those two items are also needed for later). Take that (or take a screenshot, whatever works), because it's super important for what's about to come next.
In the next room of the basement, you'll enter a narrow tunnel ... and this is where is gets rough. This area is an elaborate maze and I haven't memorized it, so unfortunately I can't give you exact directions on where you'll need to go. To top it off, there are a number of gates with padlocks with symbols and a passage from the story you found. Read the story in order to unlock the various padlocks. You'll probably also find a bunch of *special* secrets that maybe you can look in another play session.
After a good wander, you’ll eventually come across two items – a bottle holding the tuyul and a notebook. Take the notebook. Read the ritual from the notebook, and *deep breath* open the bottle. From there, escape the maze and just follow the ritual notes.
Once you’ve completed the ritual, exit the house, go to your car, and select “Get the F**k Out”.
It might take a while when you go to do this the first time, and you'll no doubt get attacked if you take too long. I myself got attacked the first time I tried to do this at the very last second.
If you need me to elaborate on anything else about this ending, just let me know and I'll help when I get the chance.
UPDATE: Just got the Ending 6: Problem Solved, Is It?; basically do just everything mentioned above, but also collect as much valuables as you can find along the way. When you've finished the ritual and have collected enough items, go to the car and head over to the Pawn Shop.
Ending 7: Crime of Stealing Started is the same thing as Ending 6, but don't collect enough valuables in order to pay for your father's hospital bills.
Other mysteries I'm working on: is there any significance to the fact that paintings can be rotated in the hidden room behind Grandpa's desk in the study? Can a ritual be performed for the White Lady that is clearly haunting the place (I found a doll and a box like in the first chapter)? And what triggers the basement to open by itself--correctly performing a cleansing ritual maybe?
And where did the ring go?
The bound statue behind the wardrobe is one of the four artifacts on the property that you can collect. The paintings in the hidden room behind the bookshelf is actually a puzzle to unlock another artifact.
I actually uploaded a guide on locating the artifacts early today, if you want to learn more: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1975599896
This is great, thank you!
For me it never happened for the basement to open by itself. I do suspect that the game wants to show that there is another human inside the house as some other locked doors may be unlocked ramdomly per game session.
Also we can now use the disposable camera to check the surroundings but I am not sure if there any place that you can use it as we cannot take photos.
ending 29: trapped in another world. there is a door in the basement where you collect chicken blood and spoiled eggs. unlock that door -it doesnt require a key- and simply move forward until you get the ending.
ending 12: a girl from heaven. complete the ritual to banish Tuyul (make sure you are burying the bottle under the kuweni mango tree not the arumanis mangos) and collect enough items to pay the dept and sell them at pawn shop.
for this, banish tuyul and gtfo
ending 14: heroic, but gain nothing
banish tuyul, but reach pawnshop when it is closed
ending 16: smart move
first, put the tuyul into the bottle as described in the banishment ritual. but dont bury it. instead, inspect a paper on the desk in the hidden room upstairs, same room where you collect the book of banishment ritual. it looks like a blank paper, but if you rotate it towards bottom you will see a note, click on the note and you will say 'oh, i can sell it'. then open the drawer, you will find a book with addresses. click on the address of the guys name you saw on the note, you will say 'i must remember this'. then go to your car, a new option will be available to go to the new address you found with name of the guy. select that option.
ending 30: greedy and reckless
get all four sacred items, dont do cleansing rituals and gtfo
ending 31: respectful opportunist
get all four sacred items, cleanse them, gtfo
This ending has similar steps to Ending 10, just with some minor differences. Do the ritual to bind the tuyul to your services, then collect as much items as you can collect while having the Tuyul assist you. Once you've collected everything you can, do the ritual to banish the tuyul, bury it, then head over to the Pawn Shop. You should have enough money to pay for the father's medical bills.
Ending 10: Work Hard for Nothing
Do the ritual to bind the tuyul to your services, then collect some stuff around the house (not everything) while also using the tuyul to help open things that you would otherwise need tools or puzzle-solving skills to access (i.e. having the tuyul unbolt or unscrew things, solve the clock puzzle, open the puzzle locks, etc).
Go back to the green bedroom and then perform the ritual to capture the tuyul (you just have to add the kid's clothing to the offerings, since you've already collected the items from the previous ritual). Bury the tuyul, then go to the car and head over to the Pawn Shop.
Ending 11:A Little Too Late
It's the same deal like with Endings 09 and 10, except you stay too long at the house and go to the Pawn Shop after its closed. Bind the Tuyul to your services, collect valuables, cut ties with the Tuyul, bury it, then wait until you know the Pawn Shop will be closed.
Ending 16: Smart Move
This one involves capturing the tuyul, then selling it to a shaman. To do this, you'll need to inspect a blank sheet of paper that's in the grandfather's hidden study upstairs. You will need to have your candle lit, as there's a message written in invisible ink that will gradually appear and gives the name of the shaman you can sell the Tuyul to.
Go to first drawer on the right hand side of the desk, and you'll find a black address book. Inside you'll find the shaman's address. Next, do the ritual to capture the tuyul, but instead of burying it, go to your car and you should get the option to go to the shaman.
Ending 27: Under Fire
Light the candles in the green room, then open the window above the canopy bed. Go to the car and choose "Get the F**ck Out".
As of now, I've finally collected all 32 Endings, but never once found any use for the disposable camera you can pick up. Has anyone been able to discover what it does? Or is perhaps a leftover item for a potential ending that got scrapped?
