Is this game related to Subsurface Circular?
Subsurface Circular was one of my favorite games of the last year, so I'm really excited to get this as soon as I can. However, is this game in any way related to the other one? I really don't mind if it's a new story on it's own, but it would also be great if it was connected somehow.

There are links, but this game focuses on its own story.. fans of Subsurface Circular will find some stuff that lines up though ;)

I didn't see much connecting the two but they're made in the same engine, have the same mechanics, and same gameplay. In my opinion, Quarentine Circular takes what worked about Subsurface Circular and expanded upon it.

The only thing that may be somewhat disappointing going from Subsurface to Quarentine is that there are no robots.

There are mentions of cities populated by robots and at least one of the ending concerns them, but no direct interaction with them, no.

For robots Leave the collar on the alien if you want something robot related in the ending

The crew mentions to one question you can ask as Gabriel that "No, I'm not a Tek"
Along with descriptions of cities ran by robots and some even gaining independence.
I left the collar on until right before the punch of the story was delivered.

It seems like QC takes place a decade or more *after* SC, but since the origin of the indepedent Teks is left vague, it doesn't canonize an ending to SC.
