simply being a warrior, wearing plate armor, and using intrepid shout will make you far tankier than the average player, and tanky enough for most content pre-hell difficulty. you don't really need a dedicated tank prior to that, it's nice to have a tank in smaller groups, but generally spreading out the damage across five buffed players and using healing potions is sufficient.
with that said, shield bash is actually one of the better dps builds for warrior. other builds are reliant on long 10+ second cooldowns, and they have a lot of downtime being filled with suboptimal skills. shield bash has no cooldown and just puts out steady aoe dps. your single target kinda sucks, but that's where mastery: panzer comes in.
I'm curious how pure dps classes are fairing soloing. As a healer soloing is a breeze. As a tank I imagine always carry health pot and your good.
Between Shaman and Shadow Knight which is better solo?
If I was going to play HC, I'd choose Crusader, they're practically unkillable.
1: What is parry and how does it happen? It's mentioned in a few place and my rogue has the passive skill but it remains at 1 even after 13 player levels.
2: I found a cool 2 handed Minotaurus axe and is part of a set. Which class can use those?
3: ... is there a way to "predict" or farm specific set items or are they completely random? (found the lvl 16 minotaurus ax in a level 9 dungeon).
4: Can you send gold from a character to another like you can do with items? Ergo, can you farm gold on one character to use on another?
5: Are "party of characters" only for online plays? and who controls where the party goes in a dungeon? If I join a party, do i have any agency on how to clear a dungeon and when to start an enemy encounter? I grouped all these question together, but it's basically the same "Who controls party and encounter in dungeon".
