That's all I'm at liberty to say, so I hope you'll forgive me if I don't comment further.
Hello, do you know which publisher created and revoked White Dwarf 462 game key?
Overpaid for game code (not magazine) some months ago, but didn't unpackage magazine yet. I had never heard it has a activation deadline time before today, no words talking about it on the magazine cover . :(
That's unfortunate. I have been supporting the team's work for a long time, including day-one ETD back in 2018 (2019?), hoping it would be THE one to make it.
Did I miss an announcement? I was working through my library today and noticed it being removed from sale, but couldn't find any details covering the state of things in the news feed.
Will updates still make it to Steam parallel to what's being released on GOG? It's been a handful of months since I played through the campaign, but I've been waiting for the VA and cutscene art before doing a full playthrough.
My regards to you both, as well as all your loved ones! As belated as it is, I wish you all a very prosperous year; I sincerely hope we all do better than we have the last two.
You're not going to get anything out of it. Whatever you ran into online was grey-market scams based on the legitimate promotion.
If you bought the ACTUAL magazine, the terms of the promotion covered the expiration. According to those you're out of luck, I'm afraid. No developer or publisher of any of those titles are obligated to provide you with a substitute license.
Sorry mate.
Since this is the only version left available, could you finally implement Galaxy Achievements correctly on GOG? I reported that they weren't working but so far nothing has been done that I know of. Thank you.
No, he bought illegitimate keys, or some of the many keys that were stolen by employees. As he said, he "overpaid for game code (not magazine)" - they were never sold separately.

Yes, I mentioned this here;
Bloody hell.
I know that games are removed from Steam Store often. But I could never understand why developers so rarely make announcements about it. In my memory, it was only three times when the developers reported this sad news and even did a "farewell sale".
Even more than that: I have seen topics on the forums of those games that are in the "risk group" for deletion - about warning in advance. Obviously this is being ignored. BUT WHY?!
I don't know. These developers are a pair of good guys, but not announcing it is questionable. One did say GW had them under a stiff muzzle, but, not announcing the game's departure seems like gang overreach.
It is hard to believe.
Because the developers of games like "Dungeonbowl", "Man O' War: Corsair", "Legacy of Dorn: Herald of Oblivion" and "Talisman: the Horus Heresy" were able to do this and warned everyone in Steam in advance.
On the other hand, games like "Eisenhorn: Xenos", "The Horus Heresy: Betrayal at Calth" and many others were simply removed in silence.
P.S: I say this because I'm sad; because I wanted to have these games in my collection. I never join in the hate against GW or developers for their "bad games". Games are good or bad - I will decide for myself; there is no reason to trust someone else's opinion. Moreover, it is always the same - while the game is on store, no one cares; when it is removed, the crying about the "gem that was lost" always begins.
Personally, I'm just waiting for a good sale - in Steam it's a legal right, and I'm upset about the missed chance, which some lazy people don't give me.
