Limited edition help?

Anybody have the limited edition and can help me out? There's supposed to be a JAST download key included but I can't find it. I can't copy the files from the disc because I only have a DVD drive on my Linux computer and it won't recognize the disc.

I asked on the JAST BLUE Discord and was told to contact JAST USA support to get a key. Will let you know when I get a response.

Its Amazing! It has very good plotline! It definetly isnt a dmmd spin of- If you see the main character he is not Sei okay? And if you see a blo- I meant brown hair that is definetly not blond it might be noiz. -covers mouth- I hope you enjoy it too

I haven't had any luck so far (JAST support told me that the Steam key should unlock the DLC as well, but it doesn't, and they haven't replied again, I assume they're busy due to weekend + holiday), but someone else on the Discord contacted Jlist support and got this answer:

Update regarding JAST USA download. I got this reply "The Sweet Pool Limited Edition actually doesn't come with a JAST USA download key. The product description stating that it comes with one was wrongly written. We'll update the product info to reflect that. However, JAST USA does provide a download game key to those who requests for one. If you want it, I can ask them for the keys."

So you could try that. Thankfully the disc worked when I tried it again for some reason, dunno what the issue was before ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Doesn't seem to be installing well on Wine, but at least I can copy the files over to my disc drive-less Windows machine.

Thanks for the useful information about the download key. For anyone who's bought the limited edition - can you tell me if the physical version has any kind of regional encoding/locking? I asked Jast Blue but don't recall getting a reply.

As far as I know it's DRM-free. It's labeled for sale worldwide outside Japan, so I suppose it could have something blocking install on Japanese OSes, but not likely.

I have the Limited Edition hard copy and it came with the Steam download key on a piece of paper which worked but it was the uncensored version. I could not find the support email so I contacted JASTBLUE on fb-I don't want to have to pay another $5 for content I already payed for. I've been having issues with the hard copy as well. I played through Makoto, Zenya, and Tetsuos 1st route and on the 4th playthrough my game has been freezing (mainly whenever you get to an Instinct/Reason choice) and I can no longer continue :(

I do wonder if the freezing-up has something to do with the way this version of the game deals with saves and quicksaves. If you try to make a save point on this playthrough, does it work? (Maybe try somewhere other than at a choice, if the choices are causing the game to freeze.)

It will save while you are playing but will always freeze up at some point when I get to a choice. Then eventually after a crash I will reopen the game and all my saves will be gone. Very frustrating for sure and I've yet to hear a response from JB. I have even tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game to no avail

I managed to find a support page from their twitter and was able to get some solutions from their FAQ page. I still emailed someone on their staff so they're aware of the issue. I had to set my game to run on a Windows 8 Combatibility mode and then restart. It is still crashing sometimes but not as often and I'm hoping to be able to finish without losing all my saves again O__O
