Q1: How to add the copy the Patch?

A1:

Thanks to other players, they mentioned that you need to buy patch from this website https://jastusa.com/sweet-pool-dlc

However, the read-me-instructions.txt might give people wrong instructions...

"Instructions

1. Copy the files in the patch folder to your game's folder.
2. Overwrite the game files with these new files.
3. Start the game."

In fact you need to copy the whole patch folder. The patch folder is called "patch" with 3 .npk files inside (yeah! the one named patch) and do not change or overwrite any game files with these new files. I followed the insturctions first but it failed. So I tried a different way and downloaded the missing file again by checking game files from steam.

This time it worked!
When I opened the save file, I found two different save files on my computer.
1.00
1.00S

I guess the latter one is the new file for the new content XD

Thanks for bring Sweet Pool to steam! I have played it long time ago on psp and still love it a lot.
Also thanks for everyone who bought the game and discussed it!

Q2: What should I do if I have overwriten the file already?

A2: You don't need to redownload the whole game, actually you can right click the game from library to view the game property panel. Then cilck LOCAL FILES and click the button VERIFY INTEGRATIY OF GAME FILES. It will automatically download the missing file instead of redownloading the whole game.

Or you can google Verify Integrity of Game Files on steam to see how it works.

Q3: Will two versions share the same save files? The steam one and the steam with the patch one.

A3: It seems that they do not share the same save files. So I would suggest you should add the patch as soon as possible if you want to play the game with NSFW content. Another way is to use SKIP ingame to go through the progress if you can remember your choices.

I contacted someone and they emailed me saying that the patch has been updated; they have yet to tell me where the new patch is, or if you have to pay for it.

EDIT: I hopped onto Jast USA's site intending to contact them, but when I logged into my account, selected "My Games" and then clicked on "sweet pool - DLC", it let me redownload the patch (which I assume is the updated version) for free. I'm going to try uninstalling the old patch and reinstalling, and see what ensues!

They haven't updated the patch since 20th Dec (which is when they updated it so the sound would work, I think).

Am I right in thinking that there is currently no way to get the various ending achievements while the patch is installed?

i know i'm late lol, but i've been struggling with the runtime error for a month until i figured out what i was doing wrong. basically, when you get the three files in the patch, you need to put them all in one folder and move it to the game files (without overwriting anything). i was dumb and just copied the entire "sweet-pool-patch-for-steam" thingy.

To anybody still curious, the one you want is the 1.00, the 1.00S is the Steam version, S is for Steam. You can check which one you have at the top of the game window in window mode or go to Config and the last thing on the right side said Script Ver and it'll either say 1.00 (patched correctly) or 1.00S (not patched correctly)

This discusion may be dead but I need help please!

I bought the patch from JAST, I tried every possible way to patch it, and it doesn't work.
I copied the entire "patch" file with the 3 npk in there, copied only the npk to the game's files replacing the existing ones etc, copied only two files with the base in a "patch" file etc... Still get the censored version. orz

I keep the saves file open with both the 1.00 & 1.00S present, I delete the 1.00, but every time I launch the game, it creates a 1.00 file and still give the the censored version (says 1.00 in the game window).
It even tried to ddl it from nyaa but I get the same result.

At this point maybe I'll just to buy the uncensored one but it hurts my wallet as I arleady bought the steam version + patch from JAST

Are the voice lines supposed to be voiced? Think I'm having the same issues with no cg's showing. Ngl at this point I might just buy the game from the website lol
