[Guide] How to Enable NSFW CGs and voiceover After you get the Patch

Q1: How to add the copy the Patch?

A1:

Thanks to other players, they mentioned that you need to buy patch from this website https://jastusa.com/sweet-pool-dlc

However, the read-me-instructions.txt might give people wrong instructions...

"Instructions

1. Copy the files in the patch folder to your game's folder.
2. Overwrite the game files with these new files.
3. Start the game."

In fact you need to copy the whole patch folder. The patch folder is called "patch" with 3 .npk files inside (yeah! the one named patch) and do not change or overwrite any game files with these new files. I followed the insturctions first but it failed. So I tried a different way and downloaded the missing file again by checking game files from steam.

This time it worked!
When I opened the save file, I found two different save files on my computer.
1.00
1.00S

I guess the latter one is the new file for the new content XD

Thanks for bring Sweet Pool to steam! I have played it long time ago on psp and still love it a lot.
Also thanks for everyone who bought the game and discussed it!

Q2: What should I do if I have overwriten the file already?

A2: You don't need to redownload the whole game, actually you can right click the game from library to view the game property panel. Then cilck LOCAL FILES and click the button VERIFY INTEGRATIY OF GAME FILES. It will automatically download the missing file instead of redownloading the whole game.

Or you can google Verify Integrity of Game Files on steam to see how it works.

Q3: Will two versions share the same save files? The steam one and the steam with the patch one.

A3: It seems that they do not share the same save files. So I would suggest you should add the patch as soon as possible if you want to play the game with NSFW content. Another way is to use SKIP ingame to go through the progress if you can remember your choices.

Yeah I really wonder why... I read explicit scenes for 20mins and then I remembered that I had played Sweet Pool with fan made translation before. There should be bunch of H scenes...

I have both folders 1.00 and 1.00S but it's still censored despite me adding the patch??
I've been struggling with it for ages now

Edit: I managed to get it working!!!

Awesome! What helped? I got it so that at least there's a narration during the NSFW scenes, but still no CGs :(

So.......I got the NSFW stuff but the game deleted all of my progress (or maybe it isn't reading it?) I'm really far along into this game and I don't want to start over! What happened?

I got the same issue... It seems that they (steam version and steam with patch version) do not share the save files. I should add this in the post. orz

If you remember your choices, can use SKIP to go through the whole progress.

I don't know specifically what I did to get it working (at one point I was deleting files and moving them around) but I think after adding the whole patch file and overwriting the 2 of the NPK files it started working with the CGs

Hmmm...Someone told me NOT to overwrite the files, though...Augh! So confusing!
Can't steam update the game or release an 18+ version? I hate having to jump through hoops like this!

Yeah it's really confusing, everyone's giving differing opinions on it but I heard there's an updated version of the patch so maybe try that?

How I got my progress back AND had the patch working is:
1. Open game to the Pre-Loading window.
2. Click "Open Save Folder"
3. in the SweetPool S folder there should be 2 subfolders: 1.00 and 1.00S.
4. Delete the one with the earlier timestamp.
5. Rename the remaining one as 1.00S
6. Exit the window and start up the game.

This situation happens a lot, so if you don't get your pogress loaded back again, you may need to repeat this.
